Anecdote
BOPLAAS The Nel family of Calitsdorp is part of a rich history that dates back over 150 years. It was back 1880 that Grandfather Danie started a ‘brandy’ distillery for export to London. Located 450km from the Cape in the small picturesque village of Little Karoo, the winery is known world-wide for its fortified wines (ports), brandy and red wines. For the last 4 years, Boplaas has won the award for the best ‘Port’ nationally and internationally. http://www.boplaas.co.za/
