The Pinotage vineyard is one of the finest in the country and the quality of fruit that is produces is consistent year to year. The complexity of this wine will allow it to age for at least 5 to 7 years.

Anecdote
Creativity, originality, quality….. Simon Van Der Stel, Governor of the Cape, purchased the farm in 1699 when the first wine was made. Charles Back, the Grandfather, emigrated from Lithuania, bought the farm from a French Huguenot in 1939. It was in 1974, Cyril, the Father started the « Goat Milk » business. Charles, the son, in 1978 built the « Tower », giving birth to the brand and names; FAIRVIEW, SPICE ROUTE, GOATS and newly, LA CAPRA meaning Goat in Italian http://www.fairview.co.za/
