Description :
Through careful selection the best components for the 2010 blend were identified, resulting with a typical tropical flavour profile and good mid-palate complexity. The wine was cold fermented under reductive conditions to retain as much flavour as possible. After fermentation the wine was kept on lees to add complexity. Again, the Sauvignon Blanc came from four regional sources, Malmesbury, Wellington, Robertson and Franschhoek.

Anecdote
Once upon a time back in 1776 in Franschhoek, there was a little winery run by the French Huguenots. In 1993, the farm and buildings were purchased by young entrepreneurs who planted Syrah, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache & Viognier. The BOEKENHOUT is an indigenous tree used to make furniture, the 7 chairs on the label pays homage to the 18th century artisans.
